I've never actually used this stuff to make soup, but I use it all the time for other recipes. What are some of your favorite Lipton Onion Soup recipes?

I decided to take a look at the ingredients to try to figure out why this stuff is so tasty, and lo and behold I was quite suprised to find out that the secret ingredient is MSG.

I'm loving the pot roast idea. It almost makes me wish it was winter so I could bust out the crock-pot and try it out.

1 cup rice

1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 can of water
place all in a baking dish and bake at 375 for 35 or till chicken is done

I liked it too! It would go nicely with stuffing and green beans:)

What did you have with it?
OMG any leftovers make the best chicken salad just add walnuts and dried cranberries.

Just some rice pilaf and spinach. Not the greatest combo but I have a picky husband! It would have been way better with stuffing!

Now, I have to go make that chicken salad for my lunch tomorrow! Thanks for another idea!

LOSM on sale 2 for $3 at Shaws.

Keep the recipes coming. It's almost Crock Pot time.

It IS Crock Pot time. I just made a beef stew for a friend who is very ill and mostly at home.

He really loved it. He made it an occasion for his three children to join him and to share some time together.
