Are there any restaurants serving corned beef and cabbage around here? We headed to the VFW hall in Scituate tonight thinking we could join the festivities only to be told we had to have already purchased tickets (didn't say that in the paper).

Thank you MARK for letting me know where it is. And geez headforthehills...no I wasn't kidding. I live in N. Marshfield and I'm rarely ever down in the Brant Rock area, so the whole place could wash away and I might not know it. But I'm excited to try something "new to me"!

I thought cabbage dinners was one of the reasons people left Ireland in the first place.

And to have it served by the lovely lady straight from County Kerry makes it even better and more authentic!

I have to say I have probably cooked more corned beef and cabbage than anyother man in the world. As the former Executive Chef and GM of Amrheins and then the president of the Farragut Restaurant Group between The Statehouse, Churches and Senators Breakfast and St Patty in Southie I served close to 10,000 CB and Cabage in a 5 day period for years let alone every thursday add 50 on specials

We are looking at close to half a million Corned beef dinners
